6 Tips To Run A Business When Life Is A Mess (Or You’re Just Crazy Busy)

As women entrepreneurs, we tend to carry a lot on our shoulders.
We’re juggling 10 different things at once and because each one needs attention, a lot of the time we crash and burn and fall into overwhelm.

Life gets in the way of business, and business slows down, which means cash flow slows down and puts more pressure on your personal life because now you’re trying to figure out where the money is going to come from to live or to keep the business going.

Over the last 9 months I’ve been a newly single mother of 3 young children. I’ve not had a husband to fall back on anymore, so my business was it – my income for everything. And since separating, I’ve hustled like a mofo, made more than enough money to live on, to run my business and to travel once a month for the past 3 months plus for the next 2 months where I’ll be speaking at an event in the USA and attending an event with my mentor in Bali in November (I live in Australia).

So here are my top 6 tips to keep your head above water when you run a business and feel like shit has hit the fan, or you just don’t want it to get that way.

1. Get All Woo Woo

Get right into the law of attraction and believe with all your heart and soul that everything is working out in your favour. Know that the breakdown you may be going through now is just the journey you need to take to get to the breakthrough. Look forward to the breakthrough and when it comes, be grateful for the hard times that have helped you up level and taught you a new lesson.

2. Focus On Low Hanging Fruit

Figure out what is easy for you right now. You.may have to stray off your path a little bit and change your offers up a bit, but doing so so that you get easy and quick sales is worth it and will tie you over until you have more time to think straight and put a bit more thought into what you’re doing.
The easy sale becomes your saviour.

3. Create Recurring Income

If you can combine this with low hanging fruit then perfect!
Create an offer so that you have monthly recurring income coming through and you’re not stressing about making sales month after month.
A low end membership program and monthly coaching or mentoring work well.

4. Create, Create, Create

Have offers coming out of ears. Create as soon as you feel inspired to. If an idea crosses you, don’t pause to think about if it’s a good idea, just do it – the adrenaline alone in creating a new offer within a day, getting a sales page up and promoting it is enough to get people catching on to your excited energy and get signing up!

5. Continue To Connect With People

You don’t have to send emails every day, but continue to connect with people.on a personal level in Facebook groups you feel comfortable sharing in and lay out your heart about what’s happening for you. Just the exercise of sharing what you’re going through is a good release and while doing so, you often solve your own problems as you’re writing them out!

6. Journal

Get a notebook and pour your heart out into it. Write out your feelings right now, your dreams for the future, what you’re sick of, what you want more of. Anything and everything goes.
Journaling is a powerful exercise where all problems are solved or close to solved once you write them out.

No matter what your situation, continue to hustle and don’t ever give up.
Have faith in yourself and your ability to create the business and life of your dreams.
