An Unrelenting Mission For Freedom

I believe that when one woman believes in herself, the whole world exhales.
That when her light is on, she fights to keep it on – not only fighting her own limiting beliefs, but those external sources trying to dim her light, because they’re scared of shining theirs.

I want to live in a world where women are lovingly bold and glorified, connections are enlightened and messages are spread far and wide.

I want to live in a world where women are known as visionary, leaders, nurturers and lovers – that provide immense value to the world through their knowledge and understanding.

When a girl turns 12, and lives in poverty – her future is out of her hands.

She is considered a woman now, and by the age of 14 is married, with a baby at 15.

To support both herself and her family, she has to sell her body.
Let’s say it how it is: She has to have sex with hideously, gross and nasty men.
She contracts and spreads HIV.

As an advocate for women being bold and glorified, stories like this have hit me hard.

I am trying to make the world a better place by helping to equip women with the knowledge and tools that will support their freedom.

Yeah sure, maybe all I do is help female coaches, mentors and consultants get premium paying clients and make more money.
But that money they make will be the driving force to supporting the lifestyle they want to live.
The freedom lifestyle.

But, I’ve been hit with the wake up stick lately.

I signed up with Erin Giles – she’s the founder of End Sex Trafficking Day and a Business Philanthropy Expert that helps women create revolutions by building philanthropy into their business model – who has been helping me start a philanthropic mission in my business (side note, if you want to do the same, I highly suggest you hook up with her – and no, I’m not an affiliate and don’t get any money for referrals).

I had an inkling that I wanted to give back – but I was thinking more along the lines of helping more women become more confident in themselves so they can get themselves out of sucky situations and not have to rely on others.

I was feeling a bit stuck with this though. It didn’t seem… enough.

And then it hit me – with the help of a fellow student of Erin’s, it’s girls I need to help.

You know, get ’em young. Educate them so that when they are women, they have the world at their finger tips and are already calling the shots in their life.

It was an amazing revelation.

So with a bit of Googling in my mission to find a charity to support that helps the girls, I found One Girl.

A charity, that when you visit their website and read the stories they share, you feel an instant fire in your heart to get involved.

This was the slap in the face with the wake up stick I needed.

It’s stories LIKE THIS that piss me off and makes me want to fight for these little girls.

One Girl Manifesto

So, what does this have to do with anything?

In order for us to have more women in the world that are leaders and visionaries, bold, beautiful and glorified, we have to start with girls.

Building up her confidence and educating them, whether she’s in a poverty stricken nation or in the other room doing her homework.

I have made a commitment to working on my movement for 2 hours a week on a passion project for the cause of educating girls out of poverty and into a life filled with freedom with donations going to One Girl.

Will you join me on this movement?
Will you help me to raise funds to support One Girl, so the world will have more female entrepreneurs that are confident, bold, glorified and are able to carry on that cycle?

Full Disclaimer: I’m not actually sure what I’m going to do yet in this mission, but I know that I need to get the word out so the world is made aware of this cause.
